Board Member Spotlight: Lynne E. Scroggins

Lynne E. Scroggins is Vice President of Community Engagement with the WellStar Atlanta Medical Center Downtown and South. Scroggins earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Dillard University in New Orleans and her Masters of Health Administration Degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

Hobbies – Wine tasting, restaurant hopping and weight lifting.

Passion in life – I am satisfied with my career choice because healthcare is the business of caring for the lives of others. My passion is to leave a legacy of helping individuals to become healthy and to realize their true potential in life.

Inspiration for joining the Alliance – WellStar joined the Alliance because healthcare should be a meaningful and deliberate component of each collaborative. Healthy communities cannot exist without providing the people in the community access to quality healthcare. We hope to lead the charge in developing a healthcare collaborative within the Alliance to ensure a coordinated effort to provide a full range of healthcare options.
