CONSTRUCTION READY TRAINING PROGRAM

The Construction Ready Training Program is in the process of recruiting for upcoming classes and information sessions.   Please note the deadlines for each class below is to ensure enough time to complete the ENTIRE process to include the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Eligibility. Upon completion of the WIOA process, is when the applicant will proceed in the process of getting a seat in one of the upcoming classes.  Please see the link for the TABE Practice test http://www.testprepreview.com/tabe_practice.htm.

CONSTRUCTION READY PROCESS

Step 1 – Attend the Construction Ready MANDATORY Information Session, if applicants are ready to proceed, we will administer the TABE assessment on the same day of the Information Session.  We will provide all applicant information on where to go to complete the WIOA WorkSource Eligibility Process in their county also, we will provide a list of REQUIRED documents for the applicant to take with them to the  WorkSource Board. All questions regarding the WIOA application process and required documents, must be directed to the applicant’s WorkSource Career Advisor.

Step 2 – Applicant MUST complete the Eligibility Process and deemed eligible and approved for the WIOA grant before advancing to the next step.

Step 3 –Applicant will receive a phone call/e-mail to attend the MANDATORY On-Boarding process for Construction Ready. All applicants MUST take and pass the Drug Test and complete the agility test.   Applicant will receive Next Step information from a Construction Ready Staff member fo the Industry Evaluation to include the date, time and location.

Step 4– Applicant MUST complete the final step which is the Industry Evaluation.   The IE process is a day long process which starts promptly at 7:30am and ends at 5:00pm.  A light lunch will be served.  All Applicants who are accepted in the program will receive a phone call the Friday before the first day of class.
