Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance, Inc. (Aero ATL), a Metro Atlanta nonprofit committed to boosting regional economic competitiveness around Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, proudly announces a $100,000 unrestricted grant from investor Atlanta Gas Light.
This substantial grant signifies a crucial milestone in Aero ATL and Atlanta Gas Light’s partnership. It reflects a mutual dedication to fostering thriving businesses and communities south of I-20, surrounding the world’s busiest airport. With the flexibility of an unrestricted grant, Aero ATL can propel critical projects that support its vision of creating a premier, inclusive destination for residents, learners, workers, and visitors in the Aerotropolis Region.
“We are deeply grateful for this generous contribution and the ongoing support from Atlanta Gas Light, a key partner since 2020. This unrestricted grant is instrumental in advancing our ambitious Capital Campaign to establish an Aerotropolis Headquarters,” said Shannon James, President and CEO of Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance.
