State of the Aerotropolis Breakfast 2016

Event Demonstrates Rise of Aerotropolis Atlanta

On December 13, Aerotropolis Atlanta partners hosted 450 people for the inaugural State of the Aerotropolis event at College Park’s Georgia International Convention Center. Pedro Cherry, chairman of the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance board of directors, delivered the keynote address and offered a vision of what lies ahead for the rapidly growing area. Two panels made up of regional leaders and real estate developers discussed the state of the market in the airport area and how to bring about the Aerotropolis Atlanta vision. Aerotropolis Atlanta also presented two awards at the event recognizing leadership and service to advancing the Aerotropolis effort. Former Clayton County chairman Eldrin Bell received the Visionary Award for his past leadership, while Cinda Herndon-King of Atlanta CareerRise received the inaugural Outstanding Partner of the Year for her work advancing workforce solutions on the south side. Thank you to our sponsors and partners for making the event a great one, and thank you to all those who attended! We look forward to seeing you again next year.
