The Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance recognized Laser Focus Media, a film and video production company headquartered in the Aerotropolis, as it’s Small Business of the Month.

“Movie, film and video production is a huge part of the Georgia economy and the Aerotropolis region’s economy,” said Shannon James, Sr. President & CEO of the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance. “We’re proud to recognize Laser Focus Media for their professionalism, their creativity, and community outreach efforts right here in the Aerotropolis.”

“We are so proud to have Laser Focus Media as members and partners in our community,” said Carmenlita Scott, President and CEO of the ATL Airport Chamber.  “They’ve done pro bono video projects for nonprofit organizations, churches, and medical clinics, and they’re committed to making their clients’ businesses grow.”

“40% of people respond better to visual information than plain text, and including video on your site increases your visibility, and your search engine optimization,” said Nigel Joseph, one Laser Focus Media’s founding partners. “YouTube is actually the number two search engine, after Google.”

Laser Focus Media has only three full time employees but utilizes six more on a freelance basis, and has produced thousands of videos for corporate training, marketing and promotion and testimonials.

“Testimonial videos are particularly powerful,” said Joseph. “We all check the product reviews of anything we buy online, and real person saying nice things about your product or service is can be very persuasive.”

Because of their award, Laser Focus Media qualifies as a finalist for The Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance’s Small Business of the Year, to be announced at the State of the Aerotropolis Luncheon on Friday, December 14th, 2018 at the Georgia International Conference Center.
